Synopsis
Set in a remote part of Derbyshire, England, House of the Marionettes is a coming of age story. Compelled by an ancient obligation set by the family’s Last Will and Testament, troubled young heiress, Lady Haley Priscilla Tavistock engages the services of Jarris Bradley of Stoke, for generations Master Puppeteers to the Tavistock family. But as the day of her twenty-first birthday approaches, to her horror Haley discovers not all is what it appears within the dark and mysterious world of marionettes.
Louise Grantham
Marionette’s is Lou’s first venture into film having recently graduated from The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts School of Drama. Her theatrical background is very much in evidence securing recent roles as Olga in Chekhov’s Three Sisters and Helena in a Midsummer’s Night Dream.

The characters of German-born Vera Heaton’s marionettes are unmistakably her trademark. Steeped in a pan-European culture Vera and her marionettes exhibit all over the country.
